The College is seeking a full-time Manager People and Culture at our Gandel campus in Burwood.

Reporting to the College Principal and leading a small team the position will encompass a variety of challenges and responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Planning; Develop and implement Human Resources and Organisational strategies, initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Provide professional advice, support and guidance to the leadership team around Human Resources policies, procedures and issues.
  • Engagement and Culture; develop and foster strategies that enhance employee attraction, retention and engagement.
  • Develop and manage workforce planning and talent management processes and activities
  • Performance and Development; elevate employee performance and conduct.
  • Workplace and Industrial Relations; take a lead role in managing and engaging internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance; ensure minimum compliance with employment related legislation.
  • HRIS and metrics; manage the HRIS, enhance Human Resources reporting and data analytics.
  • Complete Human Resources related investigations.
  • Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing; monitor and manage.
  • Oversee time, attendance and payroll; review and approve processes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Post graduate management studies is desirable
  • Extensive experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development and Workplace Relations Management and service delivery
  • Proven track record of leading a full-service Human Resources function across multiple levels in a complex and multi-location organisation
  • Proven ability working cross-functionally with diverse groups and with senior level management
